Chicago and snow....

Well I've finally gotten a small breather to sit down and blog. lol.

I'm in chicago...if the title hasn't made it clear. My parents were with me for a few days. We stayed at Marriott downtown chicago, so it was convenient for walking and transits. We got to see Willis Tower (formerly known as Sears Tower), Millennium Park, Art Institute of Chicago, Magnificent mile, and Navy Pier. This city is amazing--there is so much to explore with the senses whether its the smell of warm sandwiches, the falling snow on the bridge of your nose, or the rushing crowds as they board the subway. There is so much possibility to observe, learn, and experience. I'm really looking forward to learning more about the city and surrounding suburbs.

So Medill. It's somewhat different than I thought it would be , but that was to be expected. It's going to be a lot of work, but I know it'll ultimately benefit me. I'm excited. I've met some really cool people. I feel a bit intimated since some have much more experience than me, or more knowledge about current news, etc. But, its things to learn more and more. I'm happy.

I just wish we weren't so busy so I could really webcam with my parents, friends, etc more. I barely got to see my parents for 15 mins. But, I'm sure i'll get the juggling act soon. lol

well got to go, class is starting soon. wish me luck.
