So I am elated! One of my dearest friends is coming soon! ahh...I'm so excited, I just can't hide it!
I can't wait to take her around Chicago/Evanston. It's going to be AMAZING!
As far as my day...
Today was good and pretty stress free. Most of my friends are on semi-getaways this weekend, so it's fairly slow in the social arena.
However, I plan to take this time to be relax and clean the apartment. I might even watch a movie tomorrow...like Toy Story 3. I can't believe I haven't watched it already. tsk tsk.
Have started to slowly clean my room today and it was definitely a good feeling. It's like a small accomplishment. There's something about the recycling, folding and arranging that takes me to this reflective state of mind. But, I've always been a little weird. lol.
As always, my parents are my wise advisers and best friends. All it takes is a call, a simple word and I feel their love, warmth and strength fill me. And I needed them today.
This is one of the shortest blogs I've ever or will ever post, but I needed to type something. I leave you with warm optimism.
